Despite attending the same church, sharing the same friends, and many other things for more than a decade, our paths never crossed. We had close friends encouraging each of us to introduce ourselves, unknown to the other. Eventually we did, and we realised that God had been preparing each of us for this for most of our lives. Our love grew, and our lives began blending together. Friends, family, interests, passions.

Our first date was on Brighton Beach, so it was only fitting to return there when Dave proposed to Jas. The proposal was a surprise to no one. The only surprise was that it was photographed by the father of the groom at Dave's request.
